About Me

When my husband Regi and I got married we were not given a choice regarding our ceremony, and didn’t really know what we were agreeing to. Now, many years later, one of my passions in life is to help couples create wedding ceremonies that are meaningful to them.

I completed a four-year ordination program and received the Master of Divinity degree with my thesis on marriage preparation. I am a former high school English teacher and through my long term marriage, have children and grandchildren.

In the early years of my marriage, I realized I was lonely in the partnership, with my husband absent through work, work-related activities, or working out. When assigned a paper through taking continuing education classes as a teacher, I chose research to answer the question I pondered “What is marriage anyway?” With the new ideas and techniques I found, I shared and practiced with my husband. This allowed us to grow through our challenges. Over time, our love deepened and we had fewer disagreements.

Looking back, I realized I found my voice through the process of working on our marriage union. Now my husband happily supports me in my wedding profession. Many times he comes with me and helps out, when needed. We both enjoy these special celebrations.

I just love being married. It's my great joy and honor to share my experience by helping couples prepare for marriage, plan their perfect wedding, and ultimately to officiate their wedding ceremony.
